I am so listening. I am. I'm memorizing every word you speak and at the same time, I'm noticing that your socks are different colors and there is egg yolk on your chin. And this whole conversation you don't think I'm listening to will appear in my next blog. So you might as well forgive me now.
Funny, I always have the opposite problem, my chihuahua just loves to get under foot...or better yet, under butt! He loves to jump up onto the seat just as someone's sitting down. Can't count the number of times I've sat on him!
BB - that would be "never disappoint"...bless his furry little head. Kate - You get both with cats. They like to lay right behind your feet - and they are very silent about getting there. I can almost count on him being close to anywhere I am. And he takes it very personally if I step on him.

and they rarely disappoint you (at least mine don't!)

Hi Smoky... hello lovely boy... what a sweetie... You are soo clever to sit there... take good care of LJ.
MD - Yep. A wild and fearsome beast, indeed.
KD? It's possible cat people are insane, you know.
LJ, I refuse to accept on your projection and politely return your insanity diagnosis back to you. Thanks anyway.
And Smoke... whose a good boy? You're a good boy! Yes you are! Oh yes you are!
KD - and we all have the same baby-talk voice when we start crooning this stuff. See?
