This was my first PowWow, folks. Anonymous (the Drifter)tells me the one where he's from has an attendance of 1500 & draws Native Americans from all over Canada and the States. I loved every minute & took enough pictures to zap my memory card. None of which I could actually SEE at the time, my camera being digital. I also got sunburned within an inch of my life, but it was worth it.

i am so sad that i am leaving canada without exploring the culture of great first nation. A have only two months and have not met no natives here. I am a mongol. An american indian friend told me that north american aboriginal and mongols have same blood running though us. Thank you for great photos, i live so close the Point Pleasant park, but i missed all these wonderful events.
dreamcather6700@yahoo.com have been searching for first nation community, art places in halifax.
