I am so listening. I am. I'm memorizing every word you speak and at the same time, I'm noticing that your socks are different colors and there is egg yolk on your chin. And this whole conversation you don't think I'm listening to will appear in my next blog. So you might as well forgive me now.

Your cool pix are makin' me miss playing with my PSP!
Hope you got my email, and the snail mail too, although I know what kind of lies are told over the postal countertop--I think 3 to 5 days was highly over-optimistic!
I miss you playin' with PSP, too! One addict to another. I'll check my email NOW - and yeah, 3-5 days was a complete fairy tale, but I'll surely keep my eyes open Jess.
Stangely beautiful images you have created and this poem by Keats came to my mind.....
A COAT
I made my song a coat Covered with embroideries Out of old mythologies From heel to throat; But the fools took it, Wore it in the world's eyes As though they'd wrought it. Song, let them take it, For there's more enterprise In walking naked.
Herhimnbryn...thank for taking the time to share that poem, which is wonderful. I love the line.."but fools took it/Wore it in the world's eyes..." Great poetry is always welcome and appreciated.
Darkmind, hello and welcome. As a child,I loved kaleidoscopes...When I was told they were just pieces of colored glass and mirror, it didn't lessen the miracle of them a bit. The top piece reminds me of compositions of Gustav Klimt, the way the faces are almost incidental at the top and the pattern of the kimono uses most of the space. I like this piece (the top one especially)for the color and light. Hopelessly not post-modern me. Thanks for visiting. I love Mella's blog, too.
Thanks Zhoen, Teri, PF. When I do these, I become a design element, like the cloth. This Kimono is another Hilltribe buy and I love the colors and pattern in it. Besides, I had serious housework to do - and making a kaleidoscope of myself suddenly seemed urgent and pressing business!

Lovely and complex. I love the expression on your face.
